It uses cryptography and its core public ledger system Which is also known as the blockchain which helps to manage all the transactions in a secure and transparent manner.

Cryptocurrency doesn’t not exit in the physical form nor it is in the paper state like money ,or other currency. Bitcoins look like a line of 1s and 0s on a computer screen. The transaction of cryptos happens from wallet to wallet in the computer system.

When we talk about the history of cryptocurrency . Cryptocurrency before 2009 didn’t reached sufficient public attention but in 2009 cryptocurrency named Bitcoin was introduced by Satoshi Nakamoto . The first known attempt to create a cryptocurrency was eCash in the 1980s. David Chaum wrote the first whitepaper and established a company called DigiCash that would ultimately make eCash.

The first transaction of cryptocurrency named bitcoin was happened in 2010 by the man , Laszlo Hanyecz he spend 10,000 bitcoins to buy two pizzas for himself at a local pizza restaurant named papa Johns .

Now, most of the companies, Hotels, Resorts have started accepting Cryptocurrency as means of payment and the number is increasing day by day. Which makes the Cryptocurrency’s existence more stronger. There are more than 5000+ Cryptocurrency’s available in the market .
